With over twenty years of teaching and tutoring experience, I have a wealth of knowledge and proven teaching methods. I have worked with kindergarten through college level students in a variety of subjects. I hold certifications for ESOL specialist k-12, English 7-12, and French k-12. In addition, I achieved National Board certification. I believe that with proper motivation and dedication, all students are capable are improving their grades. I also think a tutoring session can provide a more effective and productive learning environment for students.For the past fifteen years, I have been teaching in public schools. Prior to public school teaching, I was an instructor for several colleges and universities. I have experience with small group and one-to-one tutoring sessions. I have tutored college essay and application, ESL, French, grammar, literature, SAT prep, and writing. I earned my master's degree in TESOL at the University of Pennsylvania. My bachelor's degree is in French. I enjoy cooking, gardening, going to the beach, learning history, traveling, and relaxing with friends. I like collecting fossils and minerals.
