I graduated from Arcadia University with dual Bachelor's degrees in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, with a 3.88 GPA. I continued my education this past year earning a Master's degree in Social Emotional Learning from Neumann University with a 4.0 GPA. I was also a member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor's Society, and Kappa Delta Pi, educational honor's society.
Experience
Most recently, I was a teacher in the suburbs of Philadelphia for four years (three in 6th grade and one in 3rd). I gave up that position when my husband was relocated with his career. I was also a world language/ESL teacher for one year following graduation. I have tutored several students in grades 3-6, and grade 12 in Calculus and SAT prep. I was also a nanny for a boy age 6 months until he was 2+. During that time, I worked with early intervention skills.

I am energetic and fun, and always try to make learning hands on. I am an out of the box thinker, who prides themselves on helping students make sense of the things that are most challenging to them. I am patient and warm, and develop meaningful relationships with all the students I work with, whether in my class or at their home. I believe that learning cannot happen without a significant relationship.
