Hobbies

Some of my favorite things to do are cook, read, and go on walks with my dog AJ. I have a large book collection which includes various nonfiction and textbooks as well as more leisurely reading. In addition, I also enjoy creative writing, and in 2014 I won the S.E. Hinton Creative Writing Award after taking a class in Fiction Writing. I'm a big fan of gardening, and while living in an apartment makes it difficult to grow vegetables, I still have several plants indoors, and I like to be outside to look at the trees and flowers around my complex. I also like animals; as I mentioned above, I have a dog AJ, and also a little box turtle named Squirt. I do enjoy creative work and being outside, but that isn't to say I don't also find pleasure in technology. I like to play around with HTML code, play video games like Skyrim and Sims, and watch TV (my favorite shows are crime dramas).
