I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Saint Louis University with graduation planned for 2017. At about the mid-point in my high school career, I developed a passion for knowledge in general. I have developed a strong appreciation for Mathematics and technical areas of Science, as these subjects provide an invaluable foundation of knowledge. I can tutor middle school Mathematics, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Calculus, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, and preparation for standardized tests.I am sure that when I am working with students I will see many different styles of learning, and I am prepared to adapt my teaching methods to the needs of each individual. I believe that the objective of tutoring sessions should go beyond working through the student's current course material, in order to develop skills and tools for successful learning going forward. My desire is for my students to achieve academic success, and also to discover a thirst for knowledge so they will seek out more education.Besides my love of learning, I also enjoy baseball, golf, reading, hiking, and traveling.
