Are you looking for a tutor who can assist you in reaching your math goals? Look no further! I am a teacher who has previously taught algebra 1 and 2, and geometry. I am experienced at both the elementary and middle school levels.Currently, I work for a non-profit organization called Learn Fresh Education Company. I am the associate director for programs and I help to put student-centered curriculum into the schools and after-school programs. I attended Brown University and obtained my bachelor's degree in economics. I went on to attend Loyola Marymount University and received my master's degree in education.I hope that after working with me, students can reflect positively on their academic experiences. I believe it is important for me to discuss the student's individual needs with them. I then work with the student to set goals together and work to help them achieve those goals. I maintain patience and understanding and I let them know that growth will happen during our time together. I like to ask questions, make sure the student understands the concepts and above all else, be encouraging.In my spare time, I enjoy running and fitness, cooking, watching cooking shows, and writing free-verse poetry.
