After I finished my master's degree, I returned to Philadelphia. I am currently working part time for a nonprofit, independent publisher in Old City, administering workshops in Creative Writing once or twice per month. I am a graduate of Temple University where I studied Italian Language and Literature and Anthropology. I attended the University of California, San Diego, where I graduated with a master's in Writing and English. I believe that learning different languages can provide us with an insight into other cultures. I am available to tutor a variety of subjects, including ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, Public Speaking, English, and Creative Writing. I can also help with any ACT, SAT, or PSAT test prep courses. When I am not busy working or teaching, I like to read, write, attend local literary and arts events, go on road trips, enjoy good food, do yoga, or run.
