I am a firm believer in higher education. I believe that a person cannot accomplish much without knowledge. I am always learning new things and hope to help my students do the same. Knowledge is used every day, it's in the way we act and how we contribute to society. I have my bachelor's degree in religion and I have also studied linguistic and cultural anthropology. My quest for knowledge of Indian Buddhism even led me to travel to India and live in a monastery. The extensive amount of time I have spent learning has made me realize how important learning is and I want to share my knowledge with other people. I believe my educational background has helped me gain valuable skills to pass on to my pupils. In addition to my educational experience, I have also been tutoring ACT and SAT prep for quite some time. During this time, I help students develop healthy study habits and prepare to take these important exams. I am also able to help with reading, writing, and mathematics. When I am not studying or teaching, I enjoy playing drums and memorizing Shakespeare. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and passion with you or your child.
