Experience
My experience as an educator includes serving as a teaching assistant as an undergraduate student and as a graduate student. I am pursuing my masters degree, and this experience includes three years co-instructing courses, tutoring in the writing center, and leading individual courses. This opportunity allowed me to help hundreds of students on their writing skills. I've also been a camp counselor and have worked in childcare. All in all, I'm comfortable working with students of any age and level of ability. I can help students figure out where their needs are and then assist them in filling those gaps to learn successfully. I also help students develop self-sufficient learning skills so they can become successful on their own. I can tutor students in algebra, geometry, environmental science, German, biology, social sciences, writing, history, public speaking, psychology, religions, and test preparation. In my free time, I enjoy reading German literature, camping, hiking, riding my bike, and cats.
