I graduated from Bucks County Community college with an associates degree in secondary education and a GPA of 3.86. I went on to study secondary education and social studies at Temple University, where i graduated in the spring of 2013. I am currently certified to teach high school social studies classes in Pennsylvania.
Experience
I have taught in various classroom settings as a student and substitute teacher. I also, if you choose to take me on as a guitar tutor, have been playing for almost a decade. I would feel primarily comfortable with taking on beginning students. I want to be a tutor for my subject area, because I truly believe that a quality education can be bolstered with a little bit of one on one attention, which a student could find lacking in their high school or university classes.

Hobbies
I spend a good deal of my time working between my two jobs, but when I find free time, I like to play guitar. I have been writing and recording my own music since I was in high school, and I'm getting better at it all the time. I like to exercise several times a week, and weightlifting is important to me. When I'm not preoccupied with either of those two hobbies, I like to read up on current events and news. I like to feel like I have a grasp on what's going on in the world. I'm excited, having recently moved to the city, to begin getting a feel for the political climate of Philadelphia, as well as going to see some of the sites that are rich with history.
