I'm a great tutor because I worked through my own obstacles with learning disabilities. I know what students are going through, so I'm empathetic and patient. I tutor students in math, and I customize my approach to match the learning style of my students and to help students with their individual needs. I love tutoring because it's rewarding to see students make progress and become confident. I worked with students of all ages and levels, including tutoring adults at a community college and coordinating a team youth group. I have a bachelor's degree in forestry and wildlife that I earned at Virginia Tech. I also have an associates degree in education that I earned at Camden County College.
