Experience
I spend most of my time outdoors, and my main hobbies are writing and reading. Recently I've begun to expand my artistic horizons, working more with drawing and clay. My main interest is in innovative and sustainable ways of living, i.e. living in harmony with the Earth's cycles in a way that replenishes our environment while nurturing our being. Although I'm no longer officially in school, I still spend a good deal of time learning new things that interest me. I'm a life-long student of life. I'm an active member in my community and am generally known as someone to go to with all manner of life-problems for advice. One of my greatest passions is for education, and someday I plan to help found a school that approaches learning in radical new ways that cater to the student. I believe kids have a natural passion for learning, the question is only one of igniting their interests.

Hobbies
I was a tutor all through high school and college and found the work very rewarding. For me, tutoring is not just about extra help learning and reviewing a challenging subject. I see tutoring as a chance to help students learn to overcome the subjects that they find difficult, mainly by helping them change their approach to that subject. Attitude and strategy go a long way in learning. I can't remember my SAT scores but they were very good, I believe between 2200 and 2300. I've had coursework in learning theory during both graduate and undergraduate studies in psychology.
