I am an experienced tutor looking for local students of any age for a typical rate of $40/hr. Rates are negotiable on a case-by-case basis. I have nearly a decade of tutoring experience, and many of my students have dramatically improved their test scores and grades as a result of working with me. I have many years' expertise tutoring the following subjects: -Mathematics (elementary school through college) -Chemistry (middle through high school) -Physics (middle through high school) -Biology (middle school through college) -English (elementary through high school) I have also regularly tutored for the following exams: -SAT I/ACT (Math, Reading, and Writing) -SAT II Subject Tests (Math - both levels, Chemistry, Physics, Biology) -AP (Calculus AB/BC, Chemistry, Biology) I can also teach college level calculus, up to and including calc 3/4, multivariable calculus. I also have expertise in writing college application essays and personal statements, as well as general guidance for the college application process. I have extensive research experience in oceanography/ climate science working at Princeton University's Program in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science as well as NOAA's Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory. I would love to talk to my clients who are interested in scientific research or academia! Some hobbies: cooking, reading, fishing, playing the ukulele, tennis.
