Experience
I view math as puzzles waiting to be solved. The thought process may be a little more in-depth for math than a typical puzzle, but the concept is the same. I find that algebra and geometry are my strongest subjects and enjoy assisting students in them. I know first-hand the struggle that students face when confronted with different learning styles. I find myself to be a visual learner. This means that I can identify with those students who struggle when they are not presented information in a visual format. I am currently studying architecture in Philadelphia. I think that the artistic component to my studies combined with my interests in art and design will be a valuable tool to teaching visual learners. I am hopeful that I will be able to provide the visual aspect to the learning process that many students find missing. In addition to algebra and geometry, I tutor students for the SAT, elementary math, and middle school math. In my free time, I enjoy cartoons, cooking, music, reading, and working out.
