Education

Middlebury College - Bachelors, Philosophy

Experience

I have a BA in Philosophy from Middlebury College and served a TA for an Intro to Modern Logic class. I recently took the LSAT and have completed the process for admission to law school. Because of that, I feel I am an ideal LSAT tutor. One of the reasons that I have a special fondness for tutoring LSAT prep is that it capitalizes on my Philosophy background since it is dependent upon logical reasoning. Once a student understands the format of the test and the necessary strategies, it is very possible for them to see a dramatic increase in their scores. I spent two months mastering the concepts and strategies for the LSAT and was able to add 17 points to my score. Besides test prep for the LSAT, I'm very capable of tutoring you or your child in Algebra 1, Geometry, Middle School Math, Pre-Calculus, Algebra 2, Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Algebra 3/4, IB Philosophy HL, IB Philosophy SL, Pre-Algebra, Math, English, Social Sciences, SAT Math, Philosophy, Graduate Test Prep, SAT Mathematics, SAT Reading, SAT Writing and Language, and College Algebra. Besides academics, my interests are reading, singing, and fitness.
