Education

Undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania

Experience

I want to be a tutor because I am passionate about helping students get the most out of their education. Sometimes, it can be difficult to understand a concept when one teacher is presenting it to an entire class; in my sessions, I provide individualized help for my students by assessing problem areas, study skills, and presenting the material in multiple ways so that we can collaborate on finding the best way to learn together. I have had extensive experience teaching students up to high school in various academic subjects, as well as ACT/SAT prep. -Over five years of tutoring in math and various other academic subjects -SAT Subject test in Math II: score of 800 -SAT Subject test in US History: score of 800 -Composite ACT score of 34 -Well-versed in the new SAT as well -Taken Algebra I/II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, and Linear Algebra at the high school and college levels
