I am a 25-year-old college graduate, Youth educator, and urban farmer. I am originally from New York City, but came to Philly in 2009 to attend Temple University, and graduated with a degree in sociology and environmental studies.
Experience
In 2010, I co-founded a non-profit organization (www. phillyurbancreators. org), and now run a 2 acre urban farm in North Philadelphia. Through this organization, I have worked with several hundred kids, facilitating garden based educational lessons. I have also been an assistant teacher in 2 elementary schools, have helped raise my niece and nephiew (ages 4 and 7), and have babysat since I was 16. I love working with young people, and am looking for part time work tutoring on afternoons, evenings, and some weekends. (I also have my Criminal Background & Child Abuse Clearances, and am happy to share those if needed)
