Experience
Ever since high school, I have had a strong interest in biology. I took Honors and AP Biology in high school as well as elective courses in Human Physiology and Forensics. My achievements in the sciences were a large contributing factor in receiving a merit-based scholarship to Clark University, where I studied as an undergrad. During my time at Clark University, I took numerous biology and chemistry courses, including Cell Biology, Evolution, and Organic Chemistry. I also performed independent research within a biology laboratory, the basis of which became my honor's thesis. I graduated from Clark University with a major and honors in biology. After working in the environmental testing sector for a few years, I decided to pursue an advanced degree at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. My program at USciences included advanced courses in pharmacology and human physiology in addition to working full time performing research within a laboratory. It was here that I learned I had a passion for teaching and fostering younger talent. I spent time as a graduate student instructor for undergrad courses as well as taught undergrads individually on scientific techniques and the theory behind them within the lab.
