Experience
The subjects I am most adept to tutor are biology, chemistry, and physics. I just got an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience. I am currently taking time off from school to travel and tutor. I went on a trip across the Pacific and plan to go to Europe soon. I have experience tutoring students in the three subjects I mentioned previously. I had a college teaching experience helping to lead review sessions for several hundred students taking physics. I also led a college chemistry study group as a tutor. I enjoy tutoring the subject of chemistry the most. Chemistry can overlap into many fields of study and is always yielding more data with each new discovery. I show students how medicine, industry, space exploration, plus numerous other areas of science rely heavily on chemical analysis and the high value it can hold for their future employment opportunities. My experience teaching large classes of students has given me the ability to explain concepts in enough diverse ways until everyone can understand them. This ability will make it easier for me to tutor different students in different ways to get the concepts through to them clearly. My travel experience will lead to good interaction between me and students who want to know more about the places I have been to.
