Andrew O.

Private tutor in Philadelphia, PA

I hold a dual bachelors degree in Economics and Finance from La Salle University and am a Series 7 and 63 licensed investment professional. I recently earned the Financial Risk Manager Designation (FRM) and passed all three levels of the CFA on my first attempt.

I am currently employed by the Vanguard Group, beginning my career as a licensed Brokerage Associate before transitioning to roles as an Equity Portfolio Associate, and finally Fixed Income Investment Support Analyst. I have experience teaching the Series 7 curriculum to new hires as part of the firm's rigorous training program, as well as tutoring those who failed the exam on their first attempt. I love being a catalyst for dramatic score improvements in my students.

Investing is my passion. I love applying my theoretical background in finance to the real world through active portfolio management. As a former division I tennis player, I still need my tennis fix, which I get by playing in the Great Valley Corporate League. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family in Long Island, listening to music, and going for runs at the park.
